Creativity is all about clicking the right touchpoints of thought process at the right time, the output of which has value addition to the existing scenarios or completely new one. I feel creativity cannot be taught but as a way of mentoring and encouragement that acts as an individual intrinsic or external motivation will help in the creativity of an individual. It is very uncertain and complex thing that different circumstances and stimulators clicks the creativity. For instance, a group of people from different background put in the same teaching and mentoring process won’t help everyone to achieve creativity. It does not click the creativity touchpoints of an individual in the same ways. Therefore, I believe that creativity cannot be taught, although it can be fostered and mentored to certain extent.

When Robinson (2014) talks about original thinking in his video, ‘Can creativity be taught?’, it resonates with my idea of having one’s thought that is not related to anyone. However, depending upon the situation and circumstances, it can be existing as well as original thoughts.

Creativity and Education?

Here’s how to do it...
